Michael J. Bawek, D.C.
Speciality:

Dr. Bawek has been honored to provide Chiropractic services since 2004.  His passion for helping people is expressed both inside and outside the clinic.  He is a proud father of seven and is active in the Hennepin and Scott County Foster Care Systems as well as the Scott County Emergency Placement and Respite Care Programs.  Dr. Bawek serves on multiple boards and is active in many other local health programs including the Minnesota Responds Medical Reserve Corps.

Education
Dr. Mike completed his premedical courses at Normandale Community College and the University of Minnesota. Then he went on to receive a Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Chiropractic degrees at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, Minnesota in 2003.   Dr. Mike continued his education by attending the Diplomat in Occupational Health courses at Northwestern Health Sciences University. Then he advanced his clinical skills by completing multiple courses in the Activator Method and extremity adjusting.

Qualifications
Dr. Mike has held an active Chiropractic license in Minnesota since 2004. Dr. Bawek has been a guest speaker for the Occupational Health diplomat program at Northwestern Health Sciences University and the keynote speaker for multiple dental continuing education seminars.  He served as the chairperson on the Bloomington Public Advisory Board of Health.  He is currently serving as a board member on the Fulcrum Health’s Field Advisory Board.  Dr. Bawek is listed on the Healthcare Professionals Directory for specialists in Minnesota that are Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome friendly.
