Dr. Matt was born and raised in Southern California. After receiving his Doctor of Chiropractic degree, he decided that Minnesota would be the best place to raise a family, set up a clinic, and establish himself as a leader in the chiropractic community.

Education
Dr. Matt graduated from St. Olaf College in 1988 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He then went to Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in California where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology, as well as his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1991.

Qualifications
Dr. Matt holds a license to practice chiropractic in Minnesota since 1992. He was appointed by Governor(s) Pawlenty and Dayton to the Minnesota Board of Chiropractic Examiners effective 2007-2015.  He currently is on the advisory board for the massage school at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington. Dr. Matt stays active within his profession by having served on the Medical Advisory Board at Newbridge Wellness Center, a delegate for the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners, an alternate and member for the Federation of Chiropractic Licensing Board, examiner for the National Board of Chiropractic, working on the Quality Improvement Committee for the American Chiropractic Network, being an Associate Clinic Faculty member at Northwestern Health Sciences University and a member of the board of directors for VerteCare. He is also a member of the American Chiropractic Association and Los Angeles College of Chiropractic Alumni Association.

Dr. Matt is passionate about maintaining a healthy lifestyle during all walks of life.  His faith and discipline with diet and exercise directs his day.  He enjoys running, an occasional golf game, and spending time with his wife (29 years!) and five children.
