Dr Matt Anderson
Dr. Matt was born and raised in Southern California. After receiving his Doctor of Chiropractic degree, he decided that Minnesota would be the best place to raise a family and establish himself as a leader in the chiropractic community.

Education
Dr. Matt graduated from St. Olaf College in 1988 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He then went to Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in California where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology, as well as his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1991.

Qualifications
Dr. Matt holds a license to practice chiropractic in Minnesota. He was appointed by Governor Pawlenty to the Minnesota Board of Chiropractic Examiners effective May 2007. He currently is a board member for the massage school at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington. Dr. Matt stays active within his profession by having served on the Medical Advisory Board at Newbridge Wellness Center, working on the Quality Improvement Committee for the American Chiropractic Network, being an Associate Clinic Faculty member at Northwestern Health Sciences University and a member of the board of directors for VerteCare. He is also a member of the American Chiropractic Association, Minnesota Chiropractic Association and Los Angeles College of Chiropractic Alumni Association.

Dr Mike Bawek
Dr. Mike is a native of Bloomington, Minnesota.  He has a great passion for helping people that is expressed both inside and outside the clinic. When he is not caring for patients, Dr. Mike volunteers his time delivering groceries to the elderly, serving on the Bloomington Board of Public Health Advisory Committee, being an active member of the Minnesota Responds Medical Reserve Corps and providing a home for Hennepin County foster children.

Education
Dr. Mike completed his premedical courses at Normandale Community College and the University of Minnesota.  Then he went on to receive a Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Chiropractic degrees at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, Minnesota in 2003.  Dr. Mike has furthered his education through advanced training in the Occupational Health diplomat course at Northwestern Health Sciences University.  He has also advanced his clinical skills by completing multiple courses in activator methods and extremity adjusting.

Qualifications

Dr. Mike holds a license to practice chiropractic in Minnesota. He has been a guest speaker for the Occupational Health diplomat program at Northwestern Health Sciences University and for multiple dental continuing education seminars.   He is also a member of the Minnesota  and American  Chiropractic Associations.

Sharon is a native of Northeast Pennsylvania, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in psychology and biology from Marywood University. She is passionate about health and the body's natural healing processes. This passion brought her to Minnesota to continue her education in the healing arts.

Education
In addition to her bachelor's degree in psychology and biology, she has also earned the title of Massage Therapist from Northwestern Health Sciences University's School of Massage Therapy. This institution provided her with a strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, pathology and professional issues.

Qualifications
Sharon is experienced in multiple massage techniques including trigger point therapy, cross fiber friction, deep muscle therapy, cranio-sacral therapy, myofascial release and swedish relaxation.  She is a current member of the American Massage Therapy Association and holds her National Certificate in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork.

Elaine has been employed with Normandale Chiropractic Health Center since 2007.  Prior to working at Normandale Chiropractic Health Center, she owned and operated a massage business for seven years in Crosby, MN.  During this time, she gained extensive experience in soft tissue work and the benefits of massage to the human body.

Education
Elaine graduated from Lake Superior College with the title of Massage Therapist.  Her education included coursework in anatomy, neuromuscular therapy, physiology, and professional ethics.  Since then, she has completed various continuing education classes to enrich her skills as a massage therapist. 

Qualifications
Elaine has been active in her profession since 2000.  She is experienced in many massage techniques, including trigger point therapy, sports massage, deep muscle therapy, craniosacral therapy, repetitive use injury therapy, myofascial release, and pregnancy massage.  She is a current member of the American Bodywork and Massage Professionals.
